ARTHUR GOBLE, JR.
Services for Arthur G. Goble, Jr., 40, Mechanicsburg, Penn., a
Chandler native, were Friday, Nov. 1, at West Shore Evangelical Free
Church, Mechanicsburg.
Goble, a data service supervisor, died Oct. 29 at a Harrisburg,
Penn., hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Oct 19, 1945, the son of Mr. and Mrs Glenn Goble.
He attended the Chandler schools, graduating high school in 1963.
He then completed a degree at Oklahoma State University before joining
the Navy, where he attained Officer status and taught computer
applications.
He joined the Dallas-based Electronic Data Systems 17 years ago and
worked in Texas, Arkansas and Ohio before moving to Pennsylvania ten
years ago. He supervised one of the company's departments at its Camp
Hill, Penn., installation.
Goble was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of West Shore
Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy, and two daughters, Chantal Dawn
and Devon E., all of the home; his parents and one brother, Lyndon, all
of Chandler, and a sister, Mary Ann Greb, Wichita, Kan.
Graveside services were conducted Nov. 2 at Mount Israel Cemetery in
West Virginia.
