  	According to George Martin Nabors, Alic forgot that the truck he was riding-in didn't have running boards. He stepped out of the truck while it was still moving. He lost his balance falling to the ground. The truck ran-over his head crushing it. His family quickly drove him to the hospital in Madill but to no avail. He died anyway; he never regained consciousness.
