Obituary
James Edward Howser January 31, 1954 Obituary
James Edward Howser was born at Brazito, Cole County, Missouri, February 25, 1883. The son of Malinda Carrender and Hosa Bluford Howser, he moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1903, where the home was made near Chandler in Lincoln County. On October 2, 1913 he was married to Miss Nellie Mae Wakley. She preceded him in death November 1949
He was a member of the Baptist, Church at Carney.
Howser died January 31, 1954 at the age of 70.
He is survived by four sons, Raymond E. Howser, of El Monte, California; Floyd W. Howser, of Hoisington, Kansas; George E. Howser, of Whittier, California; and James R. Howser, of the home address; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Mae Kates, of Claflin, Kansas; one brother, Ollie Howser, of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Abbott, of Jefferson City, Mo, and Mrs. Stella Bucknum, of Oklahoma City; and 13 grandchildren.
