      CHARLES FOUGHT IN EVERY BATTLE THAT STONEWALL JACKSON WAS IN AND WAS
      CAPTURED SOON AFTER JACKSON WAS KILLED. ALTHOUGH HE CAME HOME FROM THE
      WAR, HE NEVER RECOVERED FROM THE ILL EFFECTS OF IMPRISONMENT AND DIED IN
      A SHORT TIME.
